The Hidden One

Don't misunderstand the title, it's not based on the fact that the boy is hiding from them, but on the fact that THAT guy is Max.

During the second book, Max is nowhere to be seen, while he's still in pain for his actions towards three of his best friends. He feels devastated still, although Kari needs a friend by then. Aaaaaand before he could come out to the light, Maxwell Peter White waited to know the whole situation to be able to help. He became a helper after the first book, by the way.
