A girl and her dog

I don't remember ever telling you Sky has a beautiful dog she rescued when she was little... His name is Berry, and is the most adorable thing ever! He makes Sky's day everytime he licks her face or smiles. Of course, it could be because I don't exactly know how to draw dogs... for example? Berry is supposed to be a beautiful golden retriever, but it just doesn't look like that to me. I don't know what Berry looks like here.
